This model is a water-cooled sensor that measures heat flow. ISO standards call this a heat flow meter. It quickly became the sensor of choice for fire testing. It is mainly used for testing reaction to fire and resistance to fire. It is also used as a calibration reference standard for test equipment, for example in flammability and smoke chamber testing. It meets the requirements of the most common ASTM and ISO standard test methods.
