RANH0 net radiometer consists of a pyranometer pair, one facing upwards, the other facing downward, and a pyrgeometer pair in similar configuration. It measures four separate components of the surface radiation balance : global and reflected solar radiation (thanks to the pyranometers) and upward and downward longwave radiation (thanks to the pyrgeometers).
The net radiation is derived from these four separate measures.
The two pyranometers are identical and are second class pyranometers (ISO 9060 standard). Spectral range : 0,285 - 3 µm.
The two pyrgeometers are also identical. They have a field of view angle of 150° and an internal heating to reduce measurement errors. Spectral range : 4,5 - 40 µm.
RANH0 net radiometer has a modular design : it is possible to take the instrument apart and easily replace or re-calibrate individual sensors.
A Pt100 temperature sensor is included.
Levelling : 2-axis levelling assembly included.
Mounting : mounting tube not included.
