This hardness meter Digitest with a 0-20 N sensor automatically measures in Newton units.

It is the ideal hardness meter for a quick and fully automatic measurement without any operator's influence of the gel stability of Agar-Agar, the gelatine and the increase in hardness of gelatine capsules. The identification of the measuring system and the adjustement of the measuring distance are done fully automatic.

The advantage on a test stand is a constant lowering speed of maximum 3.2 mm/s. The device has a memory for 300 measured values.
